Aviation alphabet

If you hear air traffic controllers, you'd undoubtedly wonder: What's golf?
No, controller won't play golf. It's G in phonetic alphabet. Take a look at this table:


Is it illogical? No, in airspace everyday fly a lot of pilots from different sites on the world. Everybody speaks with other accents and pronunciation. To properly understand what the pilots have in mind, we must use those difficult phrases. Difficult? No, it's easy for me.
